We have many ways you can donate. You can donate to the Friends to support the Sacramento Public Library at the Branch Level or at the System Level.

You can designate your donation be used for one of these:

  • An at-large donation to be used where most needed
  • A specific branch to be used for specific programs or where most needed
  • Book First to provide free books to first-graders in underserved schools in Sacramento County
  • Young Readers Fund in honor of Rivkah Sass (for more information click on the button below)

Your donation helps the Sacramento Public Library provide additional services, including more programs at the branches, Lucky Day books and other materials, and new equipment. For donations under $1,000, please make the donation to Friends of the Sacramento Public Library, 828 I Street, Suite 408, Sacramento, CA 95814 or call (1 (916) 264-2880 for more information about supporting your favorite branch.
